Salesforce Unveils Exciting Free AI Certifications and Premium Training Opportunities

This year’s Dreamforce is all about Agentforce. If you thought Salesforce had gone all-in on AI, think again – they’re just getting started!

In addition to multiple announcements about the new Agentforce platform, Salesforce is launching free premium instructor-led courses and AI certifications throughout 2025.

Addressing the Growing AI Skills Gap

To prepare for the upcoming wave of AI tools and technologies, Salesforce is investing $50 million in initiatives aimed at closing the AI skills gap.

While complete details are yet to be announced, Salesforce has committed to offering premium AI courses and certifications for free on Trailhead by the end of 2025.

Although speculative, this could mean that both the AI Associate and AI Specialist certifications, currently priced at $75 and $200 respectively, may soon be free.

Additionally, Salesforce’s mention of “premium instructor-led training” hints at potential free AI-focused, instructor-led Trailhead academy courses becoming available to everyone in the Salesforce community.

Why Is Salesforce Doing This?

This initiative is part of Salesforce’s larger global effort to upskill its workforce through newly launched “AI Centers.” Starting with an AI Center in London in June, these centers will expand to Chicago, Tokyo, Sydney, and even a pop-up AI Center in San Francisco.

These centers will host premium in-person courses, while also bringing together industry experts, partners, and customers.

This move benefits not only the Salesforce ecosystem but also showcases how Salesforce is integrating AI into its new offerings, such as Copilot Studio, Data Cloud, and the recently introduced Agentforce.
